Daventry, UK, 8th August 2011 – Hankook Tyres recently sponsored The Royal International Horse Show, one of the biggest outdoor shows in the UK which has been running for over 100 years. The Royal International Horse Show, which took place at the legendary venue at Hickstead, attracting more than 15,000 visitors. The event ran over 6 days (26th July – 31st July) and was televised on Sky Sports. Spectators were given the opportunity to see a wide variety of Show Jumping, Eventing, Dressage and Showing competitions from the world’s elite horses and riders. One of the highlights of the weekend included the Amlin Plus Eventing Grand Prix which was won by Gary Parsonage as he secured a momentous win and became the only rider to win the class four times. With the London Olympics on the horizon, a good performance by British riders at Hickstead also helped to reinforce confidence for our medal chances in the New Year.
